The Dundee Central School Alumni Association met June 24, 2007 in the Dundee Central School cafeteria.  Lunch was catered by Bower's Catering of Watkins Glen at $15.00 per person, with part of the cost applied to incidental expenses of the Alumni Association.  In attendance at this year's reunion were a total of 52 alumni, spouses and guests.  Mary Backer, a member of the class of 1970, was the youngest DCS graduate present.

DCSAA president Doris Tetor Allen ('59) called the business meeting to order at 2:15 p.m. The secretary's report from the 2006 reunion was read by Daisy Randall Hall ('44) and accepted by those alumni present.  Treasurer Joyce Fultz Bloom ('53) reported a preliminary balance of $1020.50 in the Alumni Association's treasury as of June 24, 2007, with a final report to be issued incorporating any necessary adjustments deriving from the 2007 reunion.

President Doris Tetor Allen ('59) called for those present to stand as follows:

Oldest graduate attending - Rowena Eyrich ('37)
Graduate coming the longest distance - Charles VerValin ('40) from California
     Couple married longest - Clarence ('39) & Wanda Sebring ('43) - 53 years
Most recent grandparent - Shirley Wilcox Ditmar ('53) with great-grandchild, a girl,
                                                born June 22, 2007

Winifred Barkley Radka ('60), recently retired from DCS, was honored for her many years of service in the administration office.  The Alumni Association voted the usual $100.00 contribution to Dundee Dollars for Scholars, and a check in that amount was presented to district superintendent Nancy Zimar, guest of the Alumni Association this year.  The historian's report was read to those in attendance by president Doris Tetor Allen ('59) in the absence of DCSAA historian Beverly Carlyon ('61).

DCSAA officers elected for the 2007-2008 term included David Tetor ('61) - president, Doris Tetor Allen ('59) - vice president,  Daisy Randall Hall ('44) - secretary, Albert J. Kopec ('58) - treasurer, and Beverly Carlyon ('61) - historian.  It is anticipated that the next reunion of the DCSAA, the 51st annual, will be held on June 29, 2008 in the DCS cafeteria, the location subject to the approval of the DCS administration.

Following the business meeting, those attending this year's reunion were treated to a concert in the music room by Symphonic Steel, the DCS steel drum band.  Clarence Sebring ('39) then closed the afternoon's festivities with a compelling talk, DCS - Fifty Years of Change, citing the many changes he has witnessed since graduating from the first DCS class in 1939 and throughout his own 33 year career with the institution.

Respectfully submitted,
Daisy Randall Hall, Secretary
