| The palace is Al-Faw Palace. It is one of many that surround the Baghdad International Airport area. I have visited eight to ten, including the Presidential Palace, where the U.S. Embassy is currently located inside the "international zone" in Baghdad. I am deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. I currently work in the Embassy in the Iraqi Reconstruction Management Office for the Ministry of Transportation as a military adviser. |
